History
Borce’s animal park was built after Jojo’s find, a pyrenean bear cub taken by children of Borce’s PEP in 1971. It has been created in 2004 at suggestion of the town and has been managed successively by two societies.
After the last one’s liquidation, the formers employees gathered, with volunteers, to create the Parc’Ours Association in order to create a durable site in agreement with their principles and convictions.
Since, the association manages the animal park and presents our mountains’ wildlife and other domestical animals on 7 hectares, offering a two-hour stroll, and allowing visitors to become environmental actors by informing them in an educational way.
